Notes
The Voyageurs of the Sigurd Olson Institute at Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin recall a portion of the rich history of the Upper Great Lakes as they sing authentic songs from the fur trade era. Their name is taken from the hearty, courageous French Canadians who sang as they portaged and paddled birch bark canoes across the North American wilderness.Produced by the Sigurd F. Olson Institute For Environmental Studies, Ashland, Wisconsin.
